Evelyn is one of our older employees. She started out at the bottom of the company and is now, only two years later, managing all patient files and clinic finances.

Evelyn came to us in 2009 after bouncing around from job to job trying to find her place in Dubai’s society. She has background in Nursing and Caregiving, so this job was right up her alley. She is a very humble and loyal person, and sticks with every problem until it is fixed. Her perfectionism is a great asset when it comes to problems solving and filing, but it is also her only flaw.

Evelyn has a great deal of gumption which makes her very good at interacting with clients and accommodating them, especially when there are extraneous circumstances are involved.

             “My favourite part of this job is watching children transform before my eyes. The awe I feel is indescribable. Being at Singhania Children’s Clinic for so long has allowed me to watch as children with no language and speech learn to talk and express themselves. Being a part of the process, whether it is cleaning up after children, or sitting in with them for comfort during assessment is magical.

               On my days off, I like to rest up and reflect on the week. I am also a very family oriented person, so I spend a great deal of time speaking to my father and siblings back in Manila. I am not yet married, but I am engaged to be married in August.

Evelyn, Physician Assistant – Charities

             I am a certified member of the Red Cross in the Philippines and I wish I had more time to help out personally. However, I do regularly donate blood to the Red Crescent foundation. Recently I became interested in animal charities in Dubai like DARC and The RAK Welfare Centre. Dogs have an uncanny ability to heal people and I hope one day Dubai will allow Therapy animals in hospitals and therapy centers.”
