Christine came to us only a few months ago from working as a school nurse. She has a passion for helping others, and with her background in working at a school, she was fit for the job. She has a knack for problem solving, and following up on patient needs.

Her sensitivity makes her a very good paediatric nurse. However this also means she gets nervous at times, but she always pulls through with grace. Christine is also very honest. When she makes an error, where other people may lie to cover it up, she always owns up and tries her very best to fix it.

“Even though I have not been here very long, I feel like a part of the Singhania Children’s Clinic family. This atmosphere is wonderful, not only for me, but also for our clients, because I feel that a lot of them need to feel hopeful. This is why I wake up to come to work, to see the relief on many of our new patients’ faces; I feel they know they have come to the right place.  It is exciting to know that I am part of their recovery. I enjoy using skills as a Registered Nurse, that I thought were purely medical, in a way to help improve a child’s quality of life. This not only makes me happy but it also keeps me in the field I chose.

In my free time, as much as I love my job, it is nice to escape and play sports. I am part of a badminton club, and I compete regularly. This is also my first time away from home, so I enjoy talking to my family as I miss them a lot.

I am part of many organisations including the Red Cross back home, and The Philippines Nurses Association (PNA). Unfortunately I have not been able to ground myself in Dubai yet, but I would like to join some of the charities here like the Red Crescent.”

I am an accounting management graduate and also a registered nurse, efficient in handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; ready to assimilate and grasp new methods and information; knowledgeable in Tally and in all MS Office application (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook). While studying to become a nurse, I worked as Accounts Assistant Officer at Commonwealth Insurance Company for 4yrs. Then after I passed my Nursing Licensure Exam I worked as a School Nurse at Jose T. Dominggo Sr. Central Elementary School for 2yrs.

• Posting, verifying and calculating business transactions / data to obtain financial data for use in maintain accounting records.
• Maintain and reconcile billing vouchers, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data on accounts.
• Prepare inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare statement of account for each supplier.
• Post transactions in journals and on computer files and update the files.
• Review invoices and statements to ensure that all the information appearing on them is accurate and complete.
• Check figures, postings and documents to ensure that they are correct, mathematically accurate and properly coded.
• Note errors for accountants to fix.
• Assists in completing various accounting reports by conducting research, gathering information, generating needed reports.
